Delivery Day

I called Justin about 3:30pm and told him he should leave work early, as I was having some pretty intense cramps. We had plans that night to go to dinner with his parents, sister and her boyfriend Justin. So when Justin got home the cramps had calmed down a bit. We decided to go to dinner with his family @ Red Robin. The entire time I was sitting @ the table, I felt so crampy and kept feeling like I had to pee. So I got up like four times and went to the bathroom. Finally when we got home from dinner I walked around the apartment complex for a bit and told Justin that I think this might be it because I was having some pretty bad cramps @this point. I don't think he really took me seriously as I had braxton hicks (false labor ) for a month prior to this and after three unecesarry trips to triage he probably didn't want to make another one. So I called my mom and she came right over with my dad and my grandma and grandpa short to fallow. We hung out around my apartment for some time, I actually got my coloring books and crayons out and colored a picture, it helps relax me , like it did when I was a little girl. Finally when it got to intense and the contractions were getting closer together, I decided I was ready to go to the hospital. Justin and my dad (the excited papa to be) went to the car and installed the car seat. We drove the 2 minutes to the hospital and about thirty minutes later, they took me and Justin back to triage. They told me that my water had already broke and was slowely leaking, (thats why I felt like I had to keep going pee!) So they admitting me right away. Angie and Justin met us @ the hospital, my sisters and brother in law soon to fallow. My grandparents , Greg and Cyndi and my parents were also there. We hung out in the labor-delivery room for hours and hours. Angie and Justin even had to go sleep in the car for awhile. Cassi fell asleep on the couch in the room and Brandi and steven on the floor. After 19 hours @ the hospital Gavin was born! I will spare all the details :0)
